Today's Priestess

I love when received the Fall Fashion catalogs. Land's End, J. Peterman, American Eagle. Love them. Can't afford them, but I can look.

Imagine my horror when received the Fall Catalog for the Roman Catholic WomynPriests.
Although, I am considering buying the hats.

P.S. Be sure to check out Red [Erin Manning] Cardigan's brilliant song parody The Priestess Connection.

***Humor. Anybody who takes this seriously is banned from the blog.

Birkenstocks would be the better choice for foot attire for today's womynpriest. Gotta accommodate those cankles.

Let's hope there isn't a Victoria's Secret line of apparel for this fashion frumpy lot.

Brilliant. Disturbing, but brilliant.

Hers and Hers! Hhahahah

Just a bit of grammar if you don't mind. The correct spelling is "Womynpreests" and for good reason. It looks better in poetry when rhyming with "wildebeests."

I don't know whether to love or hate the LBD. The faux roman collar brings the whole thing together, and it lines up theologically with their faux orders.

And what about the poor "TRADDY" womynpriest? All this horrible horseblanket stuff is ok for the Novus Ordo, but we need a catalogue with more Luzar & Lace than tie-dye polyester!

Linking to this! Too funny to pass up....

I realized that I had no further career as a traditionalist RC seminarian when I saw the Episcopal vicaress in my town. She looked better in a cassock than I did. Of course, she could accessorize...

Hysterical! All you need is a matching handbag.

How about a Vera Bradley censor? Now you can look as beautiful as you smell!

Fashion thuribles! That would be awesome. Because it's inevitable that they will start calling themselves byshops, too, you need to have Harry Winston designs for your byshops rings and croziers! Diamonds are a girl's best friend, after all.

Disturbing!!!

No Priestess Ensemble is complete without the perfect shoes.

But none of them look like they were designed for cloven hooves.

The mini-cassock is a work of art! (Did you invent it or did you see it somewhere?) But the Lil Black Dress will do excellent well for Goth bars. I'll take one in a Size 6, please!

It gives a whole new meaning to "pectoral" cross.

This is humour, but too disturbing for me, I think this is quite crossing the line of what is funny.

Anyway, you are lacking the environmentally friendly clothing line!

Patrick, file this under the Truth Is Stranger department: It's A Girl

Now we have a pretty good idea of what they wear under their chasubles!
