I Found This Very Moving

The purpose of this blog is as an outlet for sometimes ill considered but occasionally pithy commentary by my cohorts and me. We intend to comment on Church related issues as it relates to its transformation, now begun, into a lean and mean evangelization machine. Also within our purview will be politics, current events, and hopefully some occasional humor as well. Please bear with us.

Jah. Mach schnell mit der Kreepiness.
That's animated art. Very good.
That's excellent!
That's fantastic!
Excellent animation. Story line is somewhat off the Christian message though. Moving, yes but very bleak.
It's very well done, artistically and is also very moving.
I'm wondering about the morality. If you could save another by killing yourself and thereby killing the attacker would it be moral?
At first I thought no, for suicide isn't right...but would it be?
In the situation where you have to kill an attacker to save yourself, you should not will the death of the attacker, but will your survival...In this case he wasn't willing his own death, but the survival of his friend.
Freaky and thought provoking.
I read the comments about the video and get the gist of it, but at the same time it's still scary with the way it looks with that sock puppet, and the title, "Sebastian's VOODOO?" That ends it for me.

Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Hmmm... now where did I read this message?
Okay, I finally did watch the video. Yes, it was moving and it made me mad. Nothing was wrong with the film ( it was excellently produced ) but the idea of something captured and tormented like that really got me angry. Those poor little things--made you want to reach right in there save them all and then kill the evil creep too. I was glad when it did die.
This is perhaps a stretch, but it also made me think of poor babies being aborted. Helpless and at the mercy of yet another but same kind of evil creep.
Matt
