You know how it got reported everywhere that students at Georgetown were protesting Paul Ryan's speech on campus. Here's the protest.

If it's like most other protests in Washington, there were probably more news media people than protesters. I've seen it personally, and it's every bit as pathetic as it sounds.
Is that for real or was the photo taken like an hour before everyone was supposed to arrive?
Priceless, Matt, thx for posting
Well, at least the media was there, unlike the March for life. You know because 10 people protesting is much more worthy than 300,000
Which "poor" were crucified, exactly?
That would be at Planned Parenthood(and other abortion centers) where they off as many poor minority babies as possible every day. African-Americans have been reduced to 13% from 15% of the population, so far.
Yeah, you know it's a successful protest when you're outnumbered by the crew from the news truck. Good job guys (and gals).
"Were you there...?"Er, no, evidently no one was there...
At least enough protesters were there to hold up the sign.
This is no longer the 60's seventies or even the 80's, so the Era of Dissent and Rebellion is coming to a close. Today's youth are more serious and conservative and orthodox than us baby boomers (I was born in 1962). Those of us at the time did not have World Youth Days John Paul II, though I was 16 when he was elected or the Catechism or its Compendium. Americans in general are more conservative now than since the 1980's.
That would be that those who are actually helping the poor, as opposed to just making noise on a campus, are busy trying to find funds to do it in incomes increasingly strapped by an out of control federal government sucking more and more out of them to carelessly toss at ill conceived, poorly managed, and over regulated programs.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!Do none of my fellow Catholics understand what effective protesting is about?NO one has noticed the obvious - the complete absence of Catholic demonstrating in support of Paul Ryan.Matthew Archbold just published an article on 8 reasons Catholics totally suck at protesting. No one is asking the right questions about how to create an effective Catholic protest movement on public policy issues. The abortion protest movement is not a model that will work in these situations.Needed above all are 16-26 year old Catholic activists. There should have been hundreds of them counter-ing the morons protesting Ryan. Our Lady of Effective Protesting, pray for us.
If counter-protesters had shown up, the news crews would have just added them to the original half dozen, and doctored it look like there was a real protest against Ryan. This is way it's much better (although I am shocked they didn't just cgi some more protesters).
How sad it is the left that cruciifes the poor with theeir nasty and anti-human policies.
The sign should read: "We are crucifying the poor"
