Wow. Is this what passes for comedy in the Middle East? This Egyptian comedian hits a woman reporter when he's told the channel is an Israeli one. Hilarity ensues. And by hilarity I mean screaming and punching.

This makes me pity the peoples of the Middle East. How will they ever know peace. I have watched video from different sides, within Israel especially, and listened to interviews with Catholics working on the ground in Egypt, Israel etc. I have met and listened to people from the region. The hatred and suspicion, injustices against minorities, refusal to show tolerance or to trust; the picture is far from pretty. Neither Islam nor Judaism nor Zionism can answer the problem. Really only a true, free embracing of Christ can prevent a great tragedy from overwhelming them.
