Sadly, what happened after is that Wendy's home office came down hard on this franchise. You can read what happened at Moonbattery. Wendy's then tweeted a ridiculous comment. But the original intent is awesome.

It is a well known fact that Dave Thomas's values did not accomdate the homosexual agenda.
The public has spoken clearly on the Chick-fil-A position. Perhaps it is time to make a similar statement to Wendy's. PC madness should not be supported. Let it end soon.

Interesting, the snopes picture that is a hoax is obviously different from the picture that is included in this post. I think that an independent franchiser did stand with Chik-Fil-A and that McDonalds headquarters did bring down the hammer. Then people began photoshopping other signs for McDonalds and for KFC. So I do not think this story is a hoax, but the other signs may be so.
