That was very nice of them to send the set. However, I do wish Lego wouldn't discontinue their sets so quickly. My kids want some Lego Ninjago sets that were made as recently as 2011, but which are no longer available except at inflated "collectible" prices on places like Amazon Marketplace and Ebay. Maybe the boy never would have had to write to Lego in the first place, if they didn't discontinue their sets so quickly.
What a wonderful thing they did! I love his reaction...priceless!
Our son got a Make~A~Wish and he wished for Legos. He was gifted a trip to the Lego store and he got a very large sum of money to buy many, many sets he thought he'd never, have. Then the Lego store gifted him 2 more very large sets ! It was an amazing day. His brothers also have health issues so they play with the Legos literally everyday! Love the Lego company!
