What Could Makes MSM Cover March For Life?

Every year it is the same, hundreds of thousands of pro-lifers descend on Washington only to be ignored by the MSM. If it is covered at all, focus is on a 8 hairy-legged counter-protestors.

So what could change that? What could force the MSM to cover it?

Today the Pope tweeted his support for the march.

So what would happen if the Pope actually showed up one year?

In their desperation to lambaste the Pope for interfering in our politics, they would be forced to cover it.

Question is, would the pros outweigh the cons?

What are your thoughts?

Pope is always welcome, especially when the country extremely needs him. That's the case in Obama's time.

I think it would be a powerful witness if His Holiness joined the March. I also think it would be a gigantic logistical nightmare which is why I believe that even a pro life president doesn't go. I also think that this administration, aware of the sign it would be for the pope to march for life, would deny His Holiness admission to the country until the march was over.

The admin denying the Pope entry would be enough!

Denied entry would be enough! It's like a media blackout during a special ops action in a country where Christians are under attack... Oh wait, maybe it's more than just 'like that.'

Why the jab at hairy legs? It is the way God made us. I am pro-life but believe it is a waste of time, enery, and money trying to look prepubescent.

@Unknown: is it also a waste of time, energy, and money to use deodorant? The vestigial musk glands in your armpits are also "the way God made us".

I saw at least three mainstream media outlets who covered the March for Life -- it was on my Yahoo e-mail news page, there was a photo gallery on one of the news sites (MSNBC? brain can't remember), and it was covered on NPR too. Our local news programs covered it too (but maybe that only happens in the midwest). It seemed to attract more attention this year because it was the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
