4 Planned Parenthood Clinics Close in Wisconsin

Planned Parenthood simply cannot exist at anywhere near current levels without taxpayer funding. You want to understand why it's so crucial that we eliminate the abortion giant from the taxpayer dole, read this:

Planned Parenthood has announced the closure of four clinics in Wisconsin between April and July, 2013. The clinics that will be closing are in Shawano, Beaver Dam, Johnson Creek and Chippewa Falls.

"These closures are a direct consequence of the Legislature’s elimination of funding benefiting patients at Planned Parenthood in the last budget cycle," said Stephanie Wilson with Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. "Over the past year, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin worked to minimize the impact of the Legislature’s significant budget cuts on our patients. Despite efforts to sustain services to these patients for over a year without state funding, Planned Parenthood has been forced to end health care services in these four health centers."
That's good news for babies, folks. Very good news.

Currently, Planned Parenthood sucks so much money from taxpayers that it's essentially a government program. We must stop this. If people think abortion is so awesome they'll support Planned Parenthood with their own private donations. Lots of luck with that, Planned Parenthood.

I know in my heart that we must change hearts and minds on the abortion issue but that doesn't mean we should allow the government to fund abortion mills. This must be a primary focus in coming years.

This is awesome! As a former resident of Wisconsin, I couldn't be prouder. Pro-Life Wisconsin does an incredible job there. They should get a metal.

Not to be a bearer of bad news, but have you noticed that all smaller planned parenthoods are closing as they open the mega-planned parenthoods? They are consolidating, not from lack of funding, but because they intend to provide abortions from the beginning of pregnancy into the latter months. This is more like a centralizing of power. Watch and see what happens. See how they are reorganizing their regional operations.

@texasmama: Consolidations tend to be in reaction to threats, to maximize efficiency and streamline supply chains for an organization.

Put another way, no army falls back to key bases while it's winning.
