The mayor of London may have lied when he swore that he didn't order Christian ads be pulled down.
Mayor Boris Johnson is being investigated because he may have lied when he said he didn't order Christian ads supporting "ex-gays" to be torn down from London Buses, while permitting ads by a gay advocacy group named Stonewall to run ads on buses hat said “Some people are gay, get over it.”
Core Issues Trust and Anglican Mainstream responded with their own ads which said, “Not Gay! Ex-gay, post-gay and proud. Get over it.”
It turns out that recent emails obtained may show that he did in fact order the ads to be taken down.
When the Christian ads were pulled Mayor Johnson actually said, “London is one of the most tolerant cities in the world and intolerant of intolerance."
You've got to love when politicians say what they actually mean once in a while.
