With regard to the infamous Born Alive Infant Protection Act, let us remember that it was Senator Obama who LED the opposition to this bill. That makes him pro-infanticide. Even other pretty strong liberal Democrats supported the bill.

Thanks for posting this. I've been explaining how Obama voted on this issue to others and people just don't know. They are horrified when they see. Jill Stanek's testimonies left chills down my spine.

Voting against the "Born Alive" act, and continuing to cling to partial birth abortion for "the health of the mother" is beyond barbaric. It's hard to believe that anyone who fully comprehends these processes could support them.

Then again, there were people who didn't know, or didn't want to know what was going on at Auschwitz either.

Someday, another generation will look back and see these politicians for the barbaric things they supported.

Gosh, I guess I am an optimist because I simply do not believe that when most people walk into that voting booth they will throw the lever for Obama. I think there will be a lot of soul searching by many about whether they really want to walk down that road. I believe they will discover they do not.

However, your statement bears an eerie resemblance to one that might have been made in espcially much of Northern Europe aound 1500 or so...for much different reasons but with the same results. Renee, I truly wish I shared your optimism. So many odd and incalculable things have happend this year that I simply don't have faith that McCain will win the election. I will definitely vote for him (although as I live in bluer than blue California, my vote is a throwaway) and have supported him even during the primaries before he was the front-runner.
