For the past forty years or so they were successful in pushing their agenda and shaping the Novus Ordo to their liking via these bodies. As evident in the Tidings article, they don't like to see their project being dismantled, or boundaries placed on the tools they use. The propaganda they unleashed against the motu propio sounds shrill, desperate, and increasingly ridiculous.

"the Tidings" should not be called Catholic. I am referring to those who are truly Catholic, not just lukewarm pew warmers. Heaven knows how manypeople show up on Sunday after Sudnay and never absorb the full weight of the Mass. Speaking of which, there is a storybook called The Weight of the Mass.

I do not remember the Tridentine Mass from my early childhood, but I must admit that I love attending the Frnech language Mass in my parish. I imagine I would appreciate the Tridentine Mass as well. The single priest in my parish, however, has said that the Tridentine Mass will not be celebrated in our parish as long as he is pastor. He feels it is a step backward. I do not agree, and if I decide to attend a Tridentine Mass, there is a church nearby that celebrates it.
