Dead Baby Pills?! Seriously?

Just in case you're not already sufficiently horrified by the 21st century yet, this story's for you.

News outlets are reporting that thousands of capsules filled with powdered flesh from dead babies have been seized by South Korean customs officials.

There are two logical followup question to this kind of insanity? The first of which is, of course, “I'm sorry, did you just say ‘dead baby pills?”

The second is “Did the words 'dead baby pills' seriously just crawl out your mouth?”

And then after this horror has found a comfortable cranial wrinkle in which to nest, you might just ask, “Why?”

You see, dead babies are thought “by some” to be a viable cure for disease or at least stamina boosters, if you know what I mean.

Man, sex and dead babies just go together, huh? Think of the vicious circle-ness of it all. You pop some dead baby pills in order to "perform" and unintentionally impregnate a girl you have no intention of taking care of so you unintentionally create...more dead babies -- to be sold at a convenient black market close to you.

  1. I remember reading a pamphlet at the church sponsered Family Resource Center in Peoria, that in China you could get fetuses in soups at restaurants. It looks like baby eating is a common practice in the orient. Let's hope that mass immigration from the Far East doesn't bring this horrid custom to our shores.

  2. This is the logical end-point of the normalization of abortion. Why incinerate as 'medical waste' what you can encapsulate and sell? The sheer volume of product the Chinese were trying to move through this airport means that this is no one-off.
I don't see this as being all that different, albeit a slightly more primitive version of, the West's obsession with fetal stem cells. There's very little medical proof that they can do any good, but politicians, celebs etc. get on TV screaming about the need to keep this horrific research going.
We should be cautious about viewing this smugly, we're just as bad.

  3. I came across this story yesterday. Since then I've searched for a reputable source that would throw the big red "BS" flag onto the field.

It appears that won't happen, this is reality.

As is said further along in the srticle, what are the odds it wouldn't happen here if these pills were found to cure some condition? What if they provided a bona fide cure for Alzheimers? How fast would the abortion mills start turning their victims into pills ala "Soylent Green"?

God help us all, God have mercy on us all.
