Did the Devil in History Channel's "The Bible" Look Like Obama?

Tons of people have been watching "The Bible" on the History Channel. And many of hem last night thought that the Devil in last night's installment looked an awful lot like...uhm...well...President Obama.

Judge for yourself:

  3. Well Obama does have a lot of half-siblings...

  4. They' don't look alike to me, except that they are men and don't have facial hair and have similar noses.

  5. I don't see much of a resemblance. I'm still trying to place Satan's accent, though.

  6. Yes, I do see a certain familial resemblance. But the ideological resemblance is much greater...

  7. @Anonymous: Plank. Your eye. Speck. Other person's eye.

    ¿Comprendes?

  8. Meh. Reminds of a computer-generated "aging" illustration, many of which I don't find that convincing...

  9. Before we gettest thine pantaloons in a wad, the blogger is being amusing. Lets take the plank out of our butt and our eye...relax

  10. Omg. I thought I was the only one who thought that. My husband couldn't see the resemblance so I thought it was just me.

  11. I've always thought that there were similarities. And he looks like him too.

  12. Apparently, it turns out that this series isn't as awful as could be expected from the History Channel. Is this true ?

  15. No, the devil does not look like Obama. But Obama does look like the devil. Highly suspicious!

  16. You know, I didn't see the resemblance between Senator Palpatine and Darth Sidious before either, until he got zapped with his own lightning and put on the hoodie.

  17. I totally see the resemblance!! @Anon 9:42: Thanks for the thoughtful and persuasive contribution. @Proteios, hahahahaha "pantaloons in a wad"... love it. Using it!!

  18. I recall a time not that long ago in a place not that far away when a photo of pope emeritus Benedict XVI was placed beside the baddie from LucusWorld and many Catholics didn't find it laughable at all. I know I thought it was at the very least cruel in a petty way. I'm no fan of the current president of the United States but I recall back to how images of our former Holy Father were done and am probably in the small minority who report this sort of thing isn't all that helpful, even as satire. If it is then I would think we'd also not be upset with its opposite. [ok, ducking for cover, now].

  19. The guy with the hoodie looks like someone with a greater and therefore more dangerous intelligence. Obama is a useful idiot for more gifted and more powerful enemies. Granted, he's doing enough damage as such. The big difference between the two is that there's actually hope for Obama--as long as he's alive.

  20. Obama should be careful of the BVM's foot!!! "It's a real head crusher"!
