Lesbo-Sacrament-aplooza

We are so done. Biblical comeuppance cannot come fast enough.

Rorate reports on the woeful situation in Argentina in which a 'married' lesbian couple will present their child for baptism in the Cathedral right after the two mommies are confirmed.

Karina and Soledad had to demand the authorization of the Archdiocese. "I had an audience with Archbishop Carlos Ñáñez so that he would give the order, and he confirmed to me that there will be no problem in the Cathedral," she explained. [The Cathedral] Parish priest Carlos Varas will preside at er the ceremony

The two ladies will receive Confirmation on the same day and, at 10:30 the baptism of Umma Azul will take place, with a godfather who is a friend of the family and two godmothers, the President and a friend.

One can have a debate about the baptism and if there is a reasonable belief the child will be raised in the faith (I think we should err on the side of generosity) but how do out, proud, and married lesbians living in obstinate sin get confirmation?

I give up. If Bishops won't defend the faith, how can I?

  1. A safe place for bastards...

You cannot defend unless you have a place from which to defend, and you have no place. I have been in this situation too many times now. The conservative call to 'step up' is a lie. They'll throw you under a bus. It is as ridiculous as telling the heir to the Throne of France to rule France. They'd laugh at him, and if he persisted, they'd kill him. What happens if our Church authorities incur excommunication upon themselves? Do we have an undeclared interdict on the planet? It would sure explain why the sacraments don't seem to work.

  2. Not only must the floor of hell but the walls and ceiling must be covered with the skulls of these "bravo" Bishops.

  3. WHO AM I TO..... wait I am not judging they have admitted and judged themselves along with the archbishop and all others involved. A sin is a sin and it seems to me that the fate of sodom is the next step

  4. Cardinal Bergoglio already permitted a similar sacrilege in the cathedral when he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires. Demonic.

  6. MY
    MARCEL

    We’ve hit the bottom
    “Passed Lucifer’s waist”
    The writing on the wall,
    It must be faced.

    Archbishop Lefebvre,
    Christ raised up this saint-
    After fifty years
    No sign of sin’s taint.

    Catholic Seminaries
    Full of young men
    Drinking death daily
    Again and again.

    And as He promised
    No orphans are we -
    “I Am the True Shepherd…
    My Marcel, merci!!”

  7. This story reminded me that I was confirmed by the Bishop of DaNang in the long ago. I wonder what his housing was like after 1975.

  8. The "snowflakes that fall into hell! They "all" know what they are doing is wrong! In our time, we are well into seeing the "abomination of the altar" with capricious license, being taken in the celebration of the Mass. Calif. has seen its share of outrage! There are parishes here, now, that "won't" baptize, unless the parents can assure the priest they are sincere in faith.
Some of us, are well aware, our time has also run out.
The true faithful are trimming the wicks on our oil lamps and are waiting for our Bridegroom.
Every thought, word, action and deed is being counted. Its either one step closer to heaven or its one step farther out of reach. Possibly for ever.

  9. Bp. Myers was known for his extravagant tastes when he was the Bishop Of Peoria. It looks like his extravagance has finally bit him in the bum. Good! I hope the other high livin' bishops get raked over the coals too!

  11. Are you goning to visit the new St Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Virginia for it's first Pontifical High Mass on April 26, Long Skirts ?
I guess know it's bit far away from you. I'll be there myself. Thanks for your wonderful poems. Why I'd pay $100 for a book of your poetry, how delightfully inspiring it is!

To speak to the original subject, the abomination with the baptism/confirmation in the article is pretty amazing. If things like that don't stop there will be a sizeable noticeable schism in the Catholic Church in the future. Frankly, that could be a good thing. I hope enough people speak up and stop that baptism from occurring. It might happen...

  12. It was reported in several secular and religious publications. The man claiming to be a woman is a famous Argentinian TV presenter - Florencia. He is against fundamental Catholic moral teaching and he and the other man do not practice or accept the Faith. The children were purchased by way of a "surrogate" mother in California. Take your pick of sources.

  13. The kid has no chance to be taught the faith correctly having two lesbian moms. No baptism. No confirmation. Excommunication of them and the bishop priest and anyone else involved. That's what would happen if the church was catholic anymore instead of spirit of Vatican 2 dimwits.

  14. Excuse me: but instead of simply challenging someone in a negative tone, why not Google the story yourself?

Thank you, Lynda, for your patient reply.

  15. I suppose the justification for this would be that we have no way of knowing how these two women are conducting themselves in terms of their relationship and that we should assume that they are living as "sisters." (Pay no attention to the "artwork" in the background). Same sort of sentiment is often given by some whenever the use of the world "gay" is challenged as an acceptable modifier for Catholic. So I suppose these are just more "gay Catholics" and who are we to judge. Maybe we should even see that they are just gay Catholic women that someone already considers to be "saints."

    What a bunch of nonsense.

    PRIESTS'
    HANDS

    Your hand I'd kiss
    But not for this
    The mundane games
    Men play.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    For doing this
    Absolve my sins
    Away.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    But not for this
    That any man
    Can do.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    For doing this
    God's strong,
    His choice
    The few.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    But not for this
    Like any
    Virile male.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    For doing this
    Place Him between
    Lips pale.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    But not for this
    Your strength
    Exudes each pore.

    Your hand I'd kiss
    For doing this
    Your prayers
    I do implore.

  18. Once again this sorry state of affairs goes straight back to July 1968 when the worlds Bishops and clergy declared war on Pope Paul VI and his last and most famous encyclical. The idea of Collegiality turned into a parallel Magisterium so now we are at this sorry state half a century later. You seen since the Council the main concern was PASTORL not Evangelical so now we have this happening in the Pope's own native Argentina. We can do whatever we want we don't need small minded rules like the ten commandments all we need is love and mercy. But their is such a thing as false love and mercy. There has to be Truth taught in the Church or else we are nothing more than another Christian sect.

  24. "If Bishop's won't defend the faith, how can I?" By keeping the Faith and calling on the bishop to keep his faith and you are doing a very good job of it on Creative minority Report and all.

  27. So you can't provide proof. Given this, perhaps you should reconsider making accusations without evidence.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It is the responsibility of the person making the accusation to back it up with evidence. Debate 101.

  29. No one is forcing you to remain in the Church, if you indeed believe that the gates of Hell have prevailed against it.

  30. Use your reason. This is public information. If you have access to the internet you can access independent reports. There is even a photograph. I will not limit people to sources of my choosing.

  31. It is those who oppose the dogmas of the Faith who apostatise. The deposit of Faith and morals does not change no matter what any pope, bishop, priest or layman may claim. Rebecca Duncan is clearly adhering to the unchanging deposit of Faith; it is those who don't who leave the Church.

  32. Then it shouldn't be difficult to provide the evidence to back up your accusation. Given that you seem to be unable to do so, it makes me skeptical about the credibility of your accusations.

  33. You are bing unreasonable. You obviously have access to the Internet and can verify this easily yourself. As I said, I will not choose a particular source. God bless.
