Supreme Court Punts on Abortion. Again.

Ugh. The Supreme Court turned down an appeal asking it to revive an Alabama law that would have banned abortions that effectively banned abortions after 15 weeks.

The Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) released the following statement in response to news that the U.S. Supreme Court will not hear a case concerning Alabama’s law prohibiting dismemberment abortion.
“Once again the Supreme Court has punted on abortion, this time refusing to take up Alabama’s humane law protecting unborn children from gruesome dismemberment abortions in which a child is torn apart, piece by piece. Unborn children and mothers will continue to be victimized by the abortion industry while the Court does nothing. Justice Thomas is absolutely right when he says: ‘This case serves as a stark reminder that our abortion jurisprudence has spiraled out of control… we cannot continue blinking the reality of what this Court has wrought.’”
Cowardice. Cowardice. Cowardice. A bunch of black robed spineless cocktail party attending attention sluts.

That's actually the best explanation. The other is that they've only been pretending to care about life. I fear that. And at this point I probably think it too.
